Anthony Pardon, a registered sex offender, was accused of kidnapping, raping, and murdering Rachael Anderson in her apartment on her 24th birthday in January 2018.
Anderson was an apprentice at a Columbus Ohio funeral home.
Authorities found her body inside her bedroom closet on January 29th, 2018, after her co-workers, who were concerned of her absence, contacted police.
Pardon has previously served 24 years in prison for aggravated robbery, rape, and attempted murder.
