After an argument with her boyfriend, 31 year old mother of three, Nicole Vanderheyden, went out to a bar called the Sardine Can.
Nicole never came home. A few days later her disfigured dead body was found in a field only three miles away from her home.
A 40 year old man, George Burch, who had previously worked with the police system was identified as a suspect. George attempted to pin the murder on Nicole’s boyfriend, but as the investigation progressed the truth came to light.
